This is an image of the footbridge that crosses Jordan Creek on the Covered Bridge Trail at the Trexler Nature Preserve. The light this day was fairly flat and overcast, so I went with a black and white image to capture the moody clouds and the contrasting tones within the bridge. The lower angle shot gives a great view down the length of the bridge. The repeating railings and floorboards moving towards the center of the image lead the viewers eyes down the length of the bridge. The trees in this particular area of the preserve have not grown leaves yet, so we also have a nice view of the sky, not otherwise available during the warmer months of the year.
