Little Cedar Creek flows peacefully through Trexler Memorial Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This is a scene I've photographed a number of times. Something about the light on this evening really stood out in this photo. The vegetation around the creeks edge is mostly dead this time of year, but this also provides a view further down than normally available during warmer months.
In this artistic interpretation of the photograph, I've warmed up the scene to infuse the vegetation with some color. To draw out the dramatic and natural contrast in the scene, I've applied an oil painting filter that transforms the image to a beautiful riverside scene.
