Description

This pink Dogwood and bench pair can be seen in The Allentown Rose Gardens park, located in the Lehigh Valley in eastern Pennsylvania. This photo was taken in early May. The pink flowers of the tree stood out brightly against the backdrop of dull green pine trees and instantly drew my attention. This image is part impressionism with bright pinks and smooth strokes and part surrealism with the backdrop muted to near grey-scale with the colors given more vibrancy.
