Description

An aerial view of Wehr's Covered Bridge bracketed by two Autumn trees covered in brilliant orange leaves. South Whitehall Township's Wehr's Dam lies just beyond the covered bridge. The Jordan Creek flows over the dam and under this historic Lehigh Valley bridge where it then continues it's journey further into Allentown, Pennsylvania before meeting up with the Lehigh River.

Wehr's Covered Bridge was built in 1841 and lies along Wehr's Mill Road. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the bridge continues to carry small vehicles across the Jordan Creek to this date, with weight and height restrictions.
