This view is from St. Louis Avenue in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey facing the Atlantic ocean. Famous for it's huge beaches, this stretch of beach is no exception. Moderate waves hit the shore with cloudy brooding skies stretching over this deserted span of the beach.
Facing the ocean, the Acacia Beachfront Resort is to your right (out of frame), along with Lemma's Beach Grill (also out of frame), which serves up an amazing breakfast in a cozy and familiar atmosphere.
This image taken during the morning hours belies the beach's popularity. Come high noon, it will be packed with the masses, so best to get out there early to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the ocean and the seagulls.
